Fall 2025 Chopstick Competition
Chinese Language Club
President
Throughout my college career, I have been an active member of the Chinese Language Club, advancing from a dedicated participant to Secretary and now President. In my current role, I organize and oversee collaborations with other cultural organizations for events such as the Mid-Autumn Festival and the annual chopstick competition. Beyond these large-scale events, I help coordinate and lead activities like lantern making, calligraphy workshops, tea ceremonies, and movie nights. The club fosters an inclusive environment that encourages students of all backgrounds to engage with and appreciate Chinese culture, language, and traditions.
Conversation Language Pairs
Over the past two years, I have participated in the Language Partner Program, which pairs domestic and international students to support each other's language learning and cultural exchange. While the program primarily helps international students improve their English, it has also given me the opportunity to strengthen my Mandarin skills and form meaningful cross cultural friendships. The program regularly hosts engaging events that bring participants together to celebrate diversity and connection, and my favorite was a lively trivia night that showcased both language and culture in a fun and welcoming setting.

Tigers on Track Program
In the Spring 2024 semester, I participated in the pilot cohort of the Tigers on Track internship preparation program, which greatly enhanced my professional growth. Through this experience, I strengthened my understanding of networking and the importance of maintaining meaningful connections while learning practical strategies for securing and succeeding in internships. Highlights included refining my résumé, preparing for interviews, and attending an etiquette dinner. As part of the first group to complete the program, I gained confidence, insight, and a lasting appreciation for continuous professional development.
Career ambassador (cap)
Over the Summer 2024 semester, I completed Career Ambassador training, and in the Fall, I applied this knowledge in real-world settings by volunteering in the Hendrix Student Center two to three times a week. In this role, I assisted students with résumés, cover letters, and interview preparation, providing constructive feedback and valuable resources to support their career development. Through this experience, I strengthened my communication and leadership skills while helping peers refine their professional materials and gain confidence in pursuing future opportunities.

Clemson Intramural Sports
Over the past few spring semesters, I’ve enjoyed being part of Clemson’s intramural sports, mainly playing soccer but also trying women’s rugby and volleyball. We practiced once or twice a week and had games every week, which was a great way to stay active, meet new people, and build teamwork skills in a fun and supportive environment.
